Position Overview
The Inspector General of Prisons, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications from active, dynamic, and qualified candidates (Male, Female, and Transgender) for the regular recruitment of leftover posts. These positions are specifically reserved for Minorities (Male/Female) and Transgender individuals belonging to the respective regional prison office districts.
Eligible Districts by Regional Prison Office
Candidates must belong to the districts under the following regions to be eligible:
- Peshawar Region: Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Khyber.
- Abbottabad Region: Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, Kohistan Upper, Kohistan Lower, Kolai-Palas, Torghar.
- Mardan Region: Mardan, Swabi, Buner, Malakand, Mohmand, Bajaur.
- DI Khan Region: South Waziristan Upper, South Waziristan Lower, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, North Waziristan, Karak, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Orakzai.
Job Details & Eligibility Criteria
1. Warder (Male) (BPS-07) – Initial Recruitment
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (at least Second Division) from a recognized board, or equivalent qualification.
- Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches.
- Chest: Minimum 33 \times 34\frac{1}{2} inches (with expansion).
- Health Requirements: Must be free from any physical disability, and eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses.
2. Female Warder (BPS-07) – Initial Recruitment
- Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (at least Second Division) from a recognized board, or equivalent qualification.
- Physical Standards:
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 1 inch.
- Health Requirements: Must be free from any physical disability, and eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses.

Terms & Conditions
- Candidates will be provisionally allowed to take the ETEA physical and screening tests based on their submitted online information.
- Candidates must pass the physical endurance test before appearing for the written test.
- The passing mark for the screening test is at least 40%.
- Candidates must successfully verify their CNIC via the NADRA E-Sahulat Kiosk using the token printed from the ETEA website prior to finalizing their application.
- Government servants must apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Candidates holding a 3rd Division in their Secondary School Certificate (Matric) are not eligible to apply.
- No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.
How to Apply
- Interested candidates can apply online through the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) official website: www.etea.edu.pk.
- After successful submission of the online application form, a printed online deposit slip (containing a token number and project code) will be generated.
- Take the printout of the deposit slip and pay the prescribed test fee at any branch of UBL or through EasyPaisa.
- Keep the original candidate copy of the paid deposit slip safe, as it will be required during the testing process.
- Candidates will be notified regarding test dates, roll numbers, and test centers via SMS, IVR, or the ETEA website.
