The National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA), Pakistan’s premier conservatoire since 2005, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Consultant for Fundraising and Partnerships. NAPA offers intensive three-year Diploma Programs in Theatre Arts and Music, nurturing the next generation of performers and artists. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of NAPA, allowing us to continue providing exceptional arts education and contributing to Pakistan’s cultural landscape.
Position Summary:
The Consultant – Fundraising & Partnerships will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, securing grants, and building strong corporate partnerships. This role requires a results-driven individual with exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging high-level stakeholders and aligning funding opportunities with NAPA’s artistic and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan encompassing diverse revenue streams, including grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraising events.
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential funding sources, including national and international foundations, grant-making organizations, and corporate partners.
- Set fundraising goals and develop strategies to achieve them, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Grant Acquisition:
- Identify and prioritize relevant grant opportunities based on NAPA’s programs and funding needs.
- Write compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with grant guidelines and demonstrating NAPA’s impact and value.
- Manage the grant application process, including submitting proposals, tracking deadlines, and communicating with grant-making organizations.
- Cultivate relationships with program officers at foundations and grant-making institutions to enhance funding opportunities.
- Corporate Partnership Development:
- Develop and implement a corporate partnership strategy to secure sustainable funding and build mutually beneficial relationships.
- Identify and target potential corporate partners whose values align with NAPA’s mission and vision.
- Create tailored sponsorship packages that offer value to corporate partners while supporting NAPA’s programs.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Steward corporate partnerships, maintaining regular communication and recognizing partner contributions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential donors, corporate partners, board members, and community leaders.
- Represent NAPA professionally and effectively in meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Communicate NAPA’s mission, impact, and funding needs persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Develop and deliver impactful presentations and communications materials for potential sponsors and donors.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate closely with NAPA’s Music and Theatre Arts departments to understand their funding needs and align fundraising efforts with artistic and educational goals.
- Provide marketing and program support to management, leveraging fundraising successes to promote NAPA’s programs and achievements.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions and contribute to NAPA’s overall development.
