The Citizens Foundation is currently recruiting for a range of positions to support our operations in regional offices and our extensive school network across Pakistan. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and development, and who are ready to take on challenging and rewarding roles. 1. Area Education Managers (Female)
We are seeking dynamic and experienced female professionals to serve as Area Education Managers. These leadership roles are crucial in overseeing and supporting the operations and academic quality of a cluster of TCF schools within a designated geographical area. Area Education Managers are pivotal in ensuring effective school management, teacher development, and the successful implementation of TCF’s educational model.
Key Responsibilities – Area Education Managers:
- School Supervision and Management: Provide regular supervision and support to a cluster of TCF school principals and staff, ensuring adherence to TCF’s operational guidelines and educational standards. Monitor school performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance school effectiveness.
- Academic Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality education across assigned schools, monitoring teaching methodologies, curriculum implementation, and student learning outcomes. Conduct regular school visits to observe classroom teaching, provide feedback to teachers, and support the implementation of best practices in education.
- Teacher Development and Mentorship: Lead and facilitate professional development initiatives for teachers and school staff, organizing training workshops, mentoring sessions, and sharing best practices. Support teachers in enhancing their pedagogical skills, subject matter knowledge, and classroom management techniques.
- Community Engagement and Parent Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and parents, promoting parental involvement in school activities and fostering a supportive home-school environment. Address community concerns and act as a liaison between the schools and the local community.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the smooth operation of schools within the assigned area, ensuring efficient resource management, compliance with administrative procedures, and effective communication between schools and regional offices. Monitor school budgets and ensure responsible financial management.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on school performance, challenges, and achievements, providing updates to regional and central management teams. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to school operations and academic activities.
- Implementation of New Initiatives: Support the implementation of new educational programs and initiatives launched by TCF, ensuring effective rollout and integration within the schools. Provide training and guidance to school staff on new programs and methodologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile – Area Education Managers:
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or related field). A Master’s degree is highly preferred and considered a significant asset for this leadership role.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the education sector, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Experience working with non-profit organizations or in challenging educational environments is highly desirable. Teaching experience is a strong advantage.
- Age Range: 25-30 years (This is a preferred age range to ensure a balance of experience and long-term commitment to the role and organization).
- Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, deep understanding of educational principles and practices, ability to analyze school performance data and implement improvement strategies, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, commitment to TCF’s mission and values, ability to work effectively in challenging environments, proficiency in Urdu and English languages.

2. Area Coordinators / Managers (Various Specializations Possible)
We are also seeking versatile and capable individuals to serve as Area Coordinators or Managers in various specialized roles within our regional offices and school support structures. These positions may focus on areas such as academic support, teacher training, operations, community mobilization, or monitoring and evaluation, depending on organizational needs.
Possible Key Responsibilities – Area Coordinators/Managers (Specialized Roles):
- Academic Support Coordinators: Provide direct academic support to schools and teachers, assisting with curriculum implementation, developing teaching resources, conducting classroom observations, and facilitating workshops on effective teaching methodologies.
- Teacher Training Managers:1 Design, organize, and deliver teacher training programs and workshops, focusing on enhancing pedagogical skills, subject matter expertise, and classroom management techniques. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve training modules.
- Operations Managers: Oversee the logistical and administrative operations of a cluster of schools, managing resources, ensuring compliance with operational procedures, coordinating school events, and acting as a liaison between schools and administrative departments.
- Community Mobilization Managers: Lead community engagement efforts, building relationships with local communities, mobilizing community support for TCF schools, promoting parental involvement, and addressing community-related challenges impacting school operations.
