The KPEC Project and the Role

Core Responsibilities and Scope of Services (TORs)
The selected Individual Consultant (IC) will work closely with the NHA’s Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and Social & Land Safeguards (SALS) Unit to ensure that all Land Acquisition and Resettlement (LAR) activities are designed, implemented, and monitored in strict compliance with:
- Government of Pakistan (GoP) Laws: Ensuring all national legal requirements pertaining to land acquisition are met.
- World Bank Operational Policy Frameworks: Specifically, adherence to policies on Involuntary Resettlement (OP 4.12) and other relevant social safeguards.
The consultant will be tasked with carrying out detailed surveys, impact assessments, preparation of Resettlement Action Plans (RAPs), monitoring implementation, and providing expert advice to the NHA on complex resettlement issues arising from the SLR and PTEX construction.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Required Expertise:
