Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the financial health of Marbex Pharma.
- Accounting Oversight: Manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained and financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations, preparing necessary documentation for audits and tax submissions.
- Cost Control: Develop and implement cost control measures to enhance profitability and reduce waste.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support business objectives and improve financial performance.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A professional qualification such as CA (Inter) or ACCA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Urdu.
