Professional Experience

Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies
- Administer legal practices focusing on regulatory compliance, data privacy, public administration, and corporate governance.
- Experience in handling HR-related legal issues and corporate litigation, including disputes, contract negotiations, and employment law.
- Liaise with government and regulatory bodies, particularly those involving policy development, legal compliance, and managing privacy issues.
- Proven track record in leading legal strategies, advising senior stakeholders, and handling legal matters involving large databases and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with international standards in data protection and privacy.
- Resilience and decision-making capability in fast-paced environments.
- Working knowledge of Procurement/PPRA/SCEP Rules and Regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistan law, especially related to citizen registration, citizenship, information technology, privacy, authentication, and corporate law.
- Lead and develop the in-house legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, providing training and guidance to staff on legal and compliance matters.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to apply legal principles in a practical and business-focused way.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and direct legal and cross-functional teams effectively in high-stakes scenarios.
- High ethical standards and integrity, crucial for roles involving sensitive personal data.
- Ability to strategically lead, manage, and organize the legal department, aligning functions with organizational goals.
- Optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and implement best practices for operational efficiency within the legal function.

Professional Experience
- Minimum 10 years of post-graduation experience in a reputable organization.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, including operations with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), digital forensics, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Certification in CISSP will be preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of critical security functions.
- In-depth knowledge of security operations and infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networks, and endpoint systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

- Lead the implementation and optimization of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) initiatives to streamline security operations processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into service operations and infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of cyber threat intelligence to support proactive threat hunting and incident response activities.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for forensic analysis, evidence preservation, and chain of custody.
- Develop and maintain playbooks and automation workflows to improve incident response times and reduce manual effort.
- Lead the upgrade and modernization of the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system to improve visibility, correlation, and alerting capabilities.
- Provide leadership and direction to the SOC team, ensuring efficient and effective operation of security monitoring and incident response activities.
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, integrating threat intelligence into SOC operations for proactive defense.
