Key Responsibilities
- Security Management:

- Networking Infrastructure:

- Team Leadership:
- Lead a team of IT professionals in executing security and networking initiatives.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with other government departments, agencies, and stakeholders regarding security matters.
- Prepare reports for senior management on security status, incidents, and improvements.
- Represent the ministry in national forums related to digital communication security.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security and networking roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN).
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects and teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Urdu; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
