Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Candidates applying for the position of Associate Professor (BPS-20) must meet the following minimum qualifications and experience criteria as per the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan guidelines:
For Sr. # 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
- Experience:
- Ten (10) years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.1
- OR
- Five (05) years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
- Publications: The applicants must have at least 10 publications (with at least 04 publications in the last 05 years) in the journals recognized by the HEC.
For Sr. # 3, 8, 14, 17, 18:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with ten (10) years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.2 OR five (05) years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

- M.Phil. or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized University/Institution with twelve (12) years teaching/research experience (with at least 04 years experience after M.Phil.) in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
- Publications: The applicants must have at least 10 publications (with at least 04 publications in the last 05 years) in the journals recognized by the HEC.
For Sr. # 6:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with ten (10) years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.3 OR five (05) years Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. OR equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution with thirteen (13) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

قابلیت اور تجربہ کی ضروریات:
ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر (BPS-20) کے عہدے کے لیے درخواست دینے والے امیدواروں کو ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن (HEC) آف پاکستان کی ہدایات کے مطابق درج ذیل کم از کم قابلیت اور تجربہ کے معیار پر پورا اترنا ہوگا:
سیریل نمبر 1، 2، 4، 5، 7، 9، 10، 11، 12، 13، 15، 16، 19، 20، 21، 22، 23، 24 کے لیے:
- کسی HEC تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی/ادارے سے متعلقہ شعبے میں پی ایچ ڈی۔
- تجربہ:
- کسی HEC تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی یا پوسٹ گریجویٹ ادارے میں دس (10) سال کا تدریسی/تحقیقی تجربہ یا کسی قومی یا بین الاقوامی تنظیم میں متعلقہ شعبے میں پیشہ ورانہ تجربہ۔
- یا
- کسی HEC تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی یا پوسٹ گریجویٹ ادارے میں پانچ (05) سال کا پوسٹ پی ایچ ڈی تدریسی/تحقیقی تجربہ یا کسی قومی یا بین الاقوامی تنظیم میں متعلقہ شعبے میں پیشہ ورانہ تجربہ۔
- اشاعتیں: درخواست گزاروں کی کم از کم 10 اشاعتیں (جن میں سے کم از کم 04 گزشتہ 05 سالوں میں) HEC کے تسلیم شدہ جرنلز میں ہونی چاہییں۔
سیریل نمبر 3، 8، 14، 17، 18 کے لیے:
