Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the permanent position of Assistant Professor (BPS-19) must meet the following minimum qualifications as per the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan guidelines:
For Sr. # 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 (Marketing, HRM, IMS), 37, 38, 39:
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
OR
- LL.M. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with three (03) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
OR
- First Class Master’s Degree or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with four (04) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
For Sr. # 7 (Law):
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.
OR
- LL.M. (First Division) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with six (06) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
For Sr. # 30 (Pharmacy):
- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

- Master’s Degree (First Division) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education (M.Phil./MS) in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with four (04) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
For Sr. # 36 (Art & Design):
- Master’s Degree (First Division) or equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education (M.Phil./MS) in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with four (04) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

- Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

- Applicants are required to deposit a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2500/- online through Kuickpay during the form submission process.
- Candidates must upload scanned copies of their recent passport-size photograph, attested copies of testimonials including degrees, diplomas, experience certificates, CNIC, and other relevant documents along with the online application form.
- Candidates with foreign qualifications must also submit an equivalence certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

- All fresh appointments shall be made on the contributory provident fund (CPF) pension system; however, it will not be extended to the existing employees of the University of Peshawar.
- Applicants currently serving in government/semi-government organizations must produce their Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) / No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective institutions along with their application forms. Incomplete applications and those received after the due date will not be considered.
- A candidate who has submitted an online application but failed to provide the printed application form along with all necessary documents till the date of advertisement, his application shall not be entertained and shall be considered rejected.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.

- کسی HEC تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی/ادارے سے متعلقہ شعبے میں پی ایچ ڈی۔
یا
- کسی HEC تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی/ادارے سے متعلقہ شعبے میں ایل ایل ایم تین (03) سال کے تدریسی/تحقیقی تجربے کے ساتھ کسی تسلیم شدہ یونیورسٹی یا پوسٹ گریجویٹ ادارے میں یا کسی قومی یا بین الاقوامی تنظیم میں متعلقہ شعبے میں پیشہ ورانہ تجربہ
