Responsibilities (General for all positions):
- Provide expert medical consultation and treatment to patients within their respective specialty.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Collaborate1 with other medical staff to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
- Participate in continuous medical education and professional development activities.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the hospital’s services.
Specific Responsibilities (Examples):
- Child Specialist: Diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, provide preventive care, and counsel parents on child health and development.
- Cardiologist: Diagnose and manage heart conditions, perform cardiac tests, and provide interventional cardiology services if needed.
- Dermatologist: Diagnose and treat skin disorders, perform cosmetic procedures, and educate patients on skin health.
Qualifications and Experience:
- As per PM&DC Rules & Regulations.
- At least FCPS/MCPS or equivalent qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Proven experience as a Consultant in the respective field.
- Excellent clinical skills and judgment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
