Role Overview:

As the Head of Internal Audit, you will be the driving force behind the institution’s internal audit function. You will be responsible for establishing, leading, and managing a comprehensive internal audit program that ensures financial accountability, operational efficiency, and compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Internal Audit Function: You will be the principal leader⁴ and manager of the entire internal audit function of Lady Reading Hospital-Medical Teaching Institution. This encompasses strategic planning, resource allocation, team leadership, and overall responsibility for the effectiveness and scope of internal audit activities across all departments and functions of the institution.
• Reviewing Internal Controls: You will be responsible for the systematic review and evaluation of internal controls related to financial accounting management and other critical operational functions within LRH-MTI. This involves assessing the design and effectiveness of controls, identifying weaknesses or gaps, and recommending improvements to enhance the robustness of the institution’s control environment. This will extend to clinical, administrative, and support service functions, ensuring a holistic approach to risk management.
• Ensure Regulatory and Policy Compliance: A core responsibility is to guarantee the institution’s adherence to all relevant regulations, institutional policies, and established procedures for effective institutional management. • Secretary to the Audit Committee: You will serve as the Secretary to the Audit Committee of LRH-MTI. In this capacity, you will be responsible for organizing and facilitating Audit Committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, providing expert advice and information to the Committee members, and ensuring effective communication between the Internal Audit function and the Board of Governors through the Audit Committee.
• Risk Assessment and Audit Program Development: You will lead the execution of comprehensive risk assessments across various functions of the institution. Based on these assessments, you will be responsible for initiating and developing a risk-based comprehensive audit program that prioritizes audit areas based on their significance and potential impact. This involves identifying key risks, assessing their likelihood and impact, and designing audit plans that effectively address these risks.
• Conducting Audits and Reporting: You will be directly involved in conducting audit tests, meticulously documenting audit issues and findings, and preparing clear, concise, and actionable audit reports. Furthermore, you will be responsible for rigorous follow-up on outstanding tasks and audit issues identified during audits, ensuring timely resolution and implementation of recommended corrective actions. This hands-on approach ensures the audit function is proactive in driving improvements.
• Communication and Coordination: Effective communication and coordination are paramount. You will be responsible for maintaining proactive communication and coordination with various departments within LRH-MTI, external audit firms, and other relevant stakeholders for matters related to statutory compliance, audit findings, and best practices in internal controls and governance. • Reporting Structure: The Head of Internal Audit will have a dual reporting structure. Functionally, you will report to the Board of Governors through the Audit Committee, ensuring independence and objectivity in your audit work. Administratively, you will report to the Hospital Director for day-to-day operational matters, ensuring seamless integration with the hospital’s administrative framework.

Qualification and Experience: Your Credentials for Success

• Educational Qualification:
  • Essential: Applicants must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). This foundational qualification is absolutely necessary, signifying a deep understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial management practices.

عمومی ہدایات: درخواست کیسے دیں

براہ کرم یقینی بنائیں کہ آپ کی درخواست پر غور کرنے کے لیے درست طریقے سے جمع کرائی گئی ہے، ان ہدایات پر احتیاط سے عمل کریں:

1. مقررہ ملازمت کی درخواست: دلچسپی رکھنے والے امیدواروں کو ضرور سرکاری ایل آر ایچ-ایم ٹی آئی ویب سائٹ: www.lrh.edu.pk پر دستیاب مقررہ ملازمت کی درخواست فارم ڈاؤن لوڈ اور مکمل کرنا ہوگا۔ یقینی بنائیں کہ درخواست فارم کے تمام حصے درست اور مکمل معلومات کے ساتھ پوری طرح سے پُر کیے گئے ہیں۔
2. جمع کرانے کا طریقہ: مکمل شدہ ملازمت کی درخواست فارم، تمام مطلوبہ معاون دستاویزات کے ساتھ، ضرور رجسٹرڈ کوریئر سروس کے ذریعے خصوصی طور پر نیچے دیئے گئے پتے پر بھیجا جائے۔ ہاتھ سے جمع کرائی گئی درخواستیں قبول نہیں کی جائیں گی۔
3. درخواست کی آخری تاریخ: درخواست جمع کرانے کی آخری تاریخ 6 مارچ، 2025 ہے۔ براہ کرم یقینی بنائیں کہ آپ کی درخواست اس تاریخ تک ایل آر ایچ-ایم ٹی آئی کے ہیومن ریسورسز ڈیپارٹمنٹ تک پہنچ جائے۔ آخری تاریخ کے بعد موصول ہونے والی درخواستوں پر غور نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
4. سابقہ درخواست دہندگان: وہ امیدوار جنہوں نے پہلے ہی اندرونی آڈیٹر کے عہدے کے لیے اشتہار کے جواب میں درخواست دی ہے جس کی آخری تاریخ 19 دسمبر 2024 ہے، انہیں دوبارہ درخواست دینے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔ ان کی سابقہ درخواستوں پر اس خالی آسامی کے لیے خود بخود غور کیا جائے گا۔
5. گورننگ فریم ورک: اس عہدے کے لیے منتخب ہونے والے incumbent کی سروس میڈیکل ٹیچنگ انسٹیٹیوشن ریفارم ایکٹ 2015 اور اس کے بعد کی ترامیم کے ساتھ ساتھ لیڈی ریڈنگ ہسپتال-میڈیکل ٹیچنگ انسٹیٹیوشن کے قواعد و ضوابط کے زیر انتظام ہوگی۔ امیدواروں کو ان ضوابط سے خود کو واقف کرنا چاہیے۔
6. اہلیت کا معیار: امیدوار ضرور اس اشتہار کی آخری تاریخ سے پہلے تمام اہلیت کے معیار پر پورا اترتے ہوں، بشمول قابلیتیں اور مطلوبہ سرٹیفیکیشنز۔ تشخیص کے مقاصد کے لیے صرف پوسٹ کوالیفیکیشن تجربہ پر غور کیا جائے گا۔ یقینی بنائیں کہ آپ کی تمام اسناد اور سرٹیفیکیشنز درست اور تازہ ترین ہیں۔
7. معاون اسناد: آپ کی ملازمت کی درخواست ضرور تمام ضروری اسناد اور تصدیق شدہ دستاویزات کے ذریعے جامع طور پر تعاون یافتہ ہونی چاہیے۔ اس میں تعلیمی ڈگریاں، پیشہ ورانہ سرٹیفیکیشنز، تجربہ سرٹیفکیٹس، سی این آئی سی، اور درخواست فارم میں درخواست کی گئی کوئی دوسری دستاویزات شامل ہیں۔ تمام دستاویزات کو ایک گزٹڈ افسر سے تصدیق شدہ ہونا چاہیے۔ نامکمل درخواستوں پر غور نہیں کیا جائے گا۔
8. کوٹہ پر عمل درآمد: لیڈی ریڈنگ ہسپتال-میڈیکل ٹیچنگ انسٹیٹیوشن معذور افراد اور اقلیتوں کے لیے حکومت کے قواعد و ضوابط کے مطابق مقررہ کوٹہ کو برقرار رکھنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔
9. درخواست پروسیسنگ فیس: ناقابل واپسی درخواست پروسیسنگ فیس روپے 1000/- درکار ہے۔ یہ فیس آن لائن MCB (مسلم کمرشل بینک) اکاؤنٹ نمبر 0847608141003952 میں جمع کرائی جانی چاہیے، اکاؤنٹ کا عنوان “Receipt of Hospital LRH MTI Branch code (0958)” ہونا چاہیے۔ ادائیگی کے ثبوت کے طور پر کام کرنے والی اصل ڈپازٹ سلپ آپ کی جاب ایپلیکیشن کے ساتھ جسمانی طور پر منسلک ہونی چاہیے۔ اصل ڈپازٹ سلپ کے بغیر جمع کرائی گئی درخواستوں کو نامکمل سمجھا جائے گا۔
10. شارٹ لسٹنگ اور انٹرویو: صرف شارٹ لسٹ کیے گئے امیدواروں جو سخت معیار پر پورا اترتے ہیں ان سے رابطہ کیا جائے گا اور انہیں ٹیسٹ اور/یا انٹرویو کے لیے بلایا جائے گا۔ کم از کم اہلیت کے معیار پر پورا اترنا سلیکشن کے اگلے مراحل کے لیے شارٹ لسٹنگ کی ضمانت نہیں دیتا ہے۔
11. کوئی مزید خط و کتابت نہیں: درخواست جمع کرانے کے بعد، انتخاب کے عمل کے سلسلے میں کوئی مزید خط و کتابت نہیں کی جائے گی۔ ایل آر ایچ-ایم ٹی آئی صرف شارٹ لسٹ کیے گئے امیدواروں سے براہ راست رابطہ کرے گا۔
12. کوئی سفارش نہیں: اثر و رسوخ ڈالنے یا سفارش (سفارش یا لابنگ) میں مشغول ہونے کی کوئی بھی کوشش امیدوار کو غور سے خود بخود نااہل قرار دے دے گی۔ ایل آر ایچ-ایم ٹی آئی میرٹ پر مبنی اور شفاف انتخاب کے عمل کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔
