Available Positions
1. Assistant Director – Database Administrator (Compliance)
- Location: Islamabad
- Age Limit: Maximum 37 years
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science from a recognized and attested HEC institution.
- Professional Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
- Preferably 2 years post-graduation experience in database administration of a well-reputed organization.
- Experience in managing databases in 11G, 12C, and 19C.
- Certification in Database (OCP) will be preferred.
- Installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle Databases.
- Managing database high availability and performance.
- Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge.
- Implementing security measures and ensuring security compliance.
- Analyst and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
- Performing backups and periodically test restore processes.
- Experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Experience with data governance standards and compliance.
- Experience in database migration, upgradation, and backup recovery.
- Experience in Linux operating system and familiarity with shell scripting.
2. Assistant Director – Database Administrator (Data Privacy Protection)
- Location: Islamabad

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a recognized and attested HEC institution.
- Professional Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
- Preferably 2 years post-graduation experience in managing databases in a well-reputed organization.
- Experience in managing databases in 11G, 12C, and 19C.
- Certification in Database (OCP) will be preferred.

- Managing database high availability and performance.
- Implement auditing to monitor and log database transactions and user activities.

- Preferably 2 years post-graduation experience in forensic analysis of large datasets.
- Proficiency in database administration and troubleshooting experience in 11G, 12C, and 19C.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Writing Ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge.
- Installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle Databases.
- Assist in the administration of large-scale databases including configuration, patching, performance tuning, backup, restore, and troubleshooting.
- Perform database integrity checks, backups, updates, etc.
- Provide technical assistance to development teams and investigators.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in forensic analysis.
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
- Experience in database auditing and security in mission-critical environments.
- Experience in database migration, upgradation, and backup recovery.

4. Assistant Director – Software Developer (NTL)
- Location: Islamabad
- Age Limit: Maximum 37 years
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized and attested HEC institution.
- Professional Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
- Preferably 2 years post-graduation experience in software development in a well-reputed organization.
- Knowledge of database administration and troubleshooting experience in 11G, 12C, and 19C.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, and Golden Gate.
- Experience with large transaction management, data management, and system configuration.
- Experience in database auditing and security in mission-critical environments.
- Experience in database migration, upgradation, and backup recovery.
- Experience in Linux operating system and familiarity with shell scripting.
- Installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle Databases.
- Writing ad-hoc queries based on schema knowledge.
- Managing database high availability and performance.

Job Location: Islamabad
Terms & Conditions:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.
- Appointment will be on a contract basis for a period of 2 years, extendable if required.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.
- Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.
- Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC.
- Candidates should submit attested degrees/certificates along with proof of experience.
- Any false information provided will result in disqualification.
- Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smartwatches, etc. will not be allowed during the test/interview.
