- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar credentials are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of optical network technologies including wavelength division multiplexing (WDM), optical amplifiers, and fiber optic communications.
- Proficiency with network management software and tools.
- Familiarity with optical testing equipment.
