1. Procurement of Short-Term Consultant Digital Media Marketer (DMM) for Developing and Executing Digital Communication Strategies:
In today’s digitally driven world, effective communication is paramount for the success of any large-scale public project. The SMTA recognizes this and is seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Media Marketer to craft and implement comprehensive digital communication strategies for the Karachi Mobility Project. This role is crucial in ensuring that the public is well-informed, engaged, and supportive of the project’s goals and progress.
The Digital Media Marketer will be tasked with:
- Developing a holistic digital communication strategy: This involves identifying target audiences, defining key messages, and selecting appropriate digital channels to reach and engage stakeholders.
- Executing the digital communication strategy: This includes creating compelling content (text, visuals, video) for various digital platforms, managing social media presence, running targeted campaigns, and monitoring online engagement.

The Karachi Mobility Project aims to incorporate cutting-edge Intelligent Transportation Systems to optimize the efficiency, safety, and user experience of the Yellow Line BRT. To ensure the seamless integration and effective operation of these advanced systems, SMTA is seeking an experienced ITS consultant to provide expert review and guidance across various project phases.
The ITS Consultant will be responsible for:
- Reviewing ITS Design: Analyzing the proposed ITS design for the Yellow Line BRT to ensure it is robust, scalable, and aligned with international best practices and the specific needs of Karachi’s transportation network.
- Advising on Procurement: Providing technical input and recommendations during the procurement process for ITS equipment and systems, ensuring that the selected technologies are fit-for-purpose and cost-effective.
- Overseeing Installation: Monitoring the installation of ITS components to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and operational requirements.
