We are now seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Consultant Cardiologist with a special interest in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation to join our dynamic team. Job Description:
As a Senior Consultant Cardiologist specializing in Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, mentoring junior staff, and advancing clinical research. Your responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Duties:
- Provide expert consultation and management for patients with heart failure, advanced cardiac diseases, and those requiring pre- and post-cardiac transplant care.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the evaluation and treatment of patients eligible for cardiac transplantation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
- Teaching and Training:
- Mentor and train junior doctors, fellows, and residents in the field of cardiology, with a focus on heart failure and transplantation.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and training programs to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals.
- Research and Innovation:
- Participate in clinical trials and research projects aimed at improving outcomes for patients with heart failure and cardiac transplants.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of protocols and guidelines for heart failure management and cardiac transplantation.
- Assist in the strategic planning and growth of the cardiology department.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background:
- MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- FCPS/MD/MRCP or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
- Specialized Training:
- Fellowship or advanced training in Heart Failure and/or Cardiac Transplantation from a reputable institution.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Cardiologist, with a proven track record in managing heart failure and cardiac transplant cases.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong clinical acumen and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu.
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid registration with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- Willingness to relocate to Peshawar if not already based in the city.

وظیفہ کی تفصیل:
ایک سینئر مشیر قلبیات کے طور پر جو دل کی فیلیور اور دل کے پیوند میں متخصص ہو، آپ پیچیدہ معاملات کو مدیریت کرنے، جونیئر عملے کو رہنمائی دینے، اور بالینیکل تحقیق کو آگے بڑھانے میں اہم کردار ادا کریں گے۔ آپ کی ذمہ داریوں میں شامل ہیں:
- بالینیکل فرائض:

- تعلیم اور تربیت:
- قلبیات کے شعبے میں جونیئر ڈاکٹروں، فیلو، اور ریزیڈینٹس کو دل کی فیلیور اور پیوند پر تربیت دینا۔
- حکمت عملی کے اصولات کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے ورکشاپس، سمینار، اور تربیتی پروگرام کا انعقاد کرنا۔
- تحقیق اور نوآوری:
- بالینیکل ٹرائلز اور تحقیقی منصوبوں میں شرکت کرنا جو دل کی فیلیور اور دل کے پیوند کے مریضوں کے نتائج کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے ہیں۔

- قلبیات کے شعبے کی استراتیجیک منصوبہ بندی اور ترقی میں معاونت کرنا۔
تعلیمی اور تجربہ کی ضروریات:
اس مقام کے لیے غور میں لانے کے لیے مقدمین کو درج ذیل شرائط پوری کرنا ہوں گی:
- تعلیمی پس منظر:
- معترف شدہ ادارے سے MBBS یا مساوی کی ڈگری۔
- FCPS/MD/MRCP یا مساوی پوسٹ گریجویٹ کی ڈگری قلبیات میں۔
- متخصص تربیت:
- معروف ادارے سے دل کی فیلیور اور/یا دل کے پیوند میں فیلوشپ یا اعلیٰ تربیت۔
- حرفی تجربہ:
- کم از کم 5 سال کا مشیر قلبیات کے طور پر تجربہ، جس میں دل کی فیلیور اور دل کے پیوند کے معاملات کی مدیریت کا ثابت کردہ ریکارڈ ہو۔
- ماہریت اور صلاحیتیں:
- مضبوط بالینیکل بصیرت اور فیصلہ سازی کی صلاحیت۔
- بہترین مواصلات اور بین شخصی صلاحیتیں۔
- متعدد شعبوں کی ٹیم میں مؤثر طریقے سے کام کرنے کی صلاحیت۔
- انگریزی اور اردو میں مہارت۔
- اضافی ضروریات:
- پاکستان میڈیکل کمیشن (PMC) کے ساتھ درست رجسٹریشن۔
- اگر پہلے سے پشاور میں مستقل نہیں ہیں تو منتقل ہونے کی خوشحالی۔
