• Job Summary: The Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, is the chief academic and administrative officer of the Faculty. The Dean provides strategic vision and leadership to all departments within the faculty, ensuring academic excellence in teaching, research, and service. The Dean is responsible for fostering a collaborative and innovative academic environment, managing faculty resources effectively, promoting interdisciplinary initiatives, and representing the faculty within the university and to external stakeholders. • Job Requirements and Key Responsibilities:
  1. Educational Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Relevant Field
     • Requirement: Possess a Ph.D. degree (local or international) in a relevant field within the Social Sciences and Humanities. Preferred disciplines include, but are not limited to: Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Anthropology, and Economics, from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized university or institute.
     • Responsibility: The Dean must possess the highest level of academic qualification to provide credible academic leadership. A Ph.D. is essential to understand, guide, and evaluate advanced research and scholarship within the faculty. The Dean will utilize their doctoral-level knowledge to ensure curriculum relevance, research rigor, and alignment with international academic standards within the Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines.
