The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) is inviting applications for a project-based position under the World Bank-funded Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP).

Position Details

Job Title: Gender Specialist
Number of Posts: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 185,800/- (All inclusive)
Contract Period: Till the end of the project (maximum up to June 30, 2027).
Age Limit: Up to 40 years.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in Gender Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, or related disciplines from a recognized university. Higher qualifications in a relevant field will be given weightage.
Experience: * Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in gender aspects (mainstreaming, equality, gender-based violence, etc.).
Experience in multi-sectoral community-based projects/programs is preferred.
Public sector experience is an advantage.
Skills:
Written and oral fluency in English and Urdu. Proficiency in Pashto is an added advantage.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
