Introduction

The Government of Gilgit Baltistan, Office of the Project Director for the “Construction of Road from Pissan to Hoper Nagar 40 KM (Shahra-e-Nagar)” project, has officially announced new job opportunities for the year 2026. Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill multiple vacancies against the PSDP-titled project on a purely contract basis. Job Responsibilities

  • Resident Engineer (Civil): Assist the Project Director in planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of road construction activities. Ensure compliance with approved PC-I, contract provisions, quality standards, safety requirements, and PPRA rules. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, monitor project progress, and prepare technical and financial reports.
  • Accountant/Superintendent (Admin): Manage all financial, accounting, administrative, and audit matters of the project, including maintenance of accounts, records, budgeting, reporting, operation of the MPG system, and reporting to the Project Director.
  • Assistant Coordinator (Land): Handle land acquisition and compensation matters, maintain relevant records, coordinate with the Revenue Department and consultants, and assist in resolving land-related issues in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Reports to the RE/Project Director as required.
  • Naib Qasid: Provide office support services including delivery of official documents, dispatch and receipt of correspondence, maintenance of office cleanliness and discipline, and assistance in routine office operations.
  • Chowkidar: Ensure security and protection of project office premises, assets, and equipment, and perform duties assigned by the Project Director.
  • Sweeper: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the office premises, rooms, and surrounding areas on a daily basis.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Appointments will be made for a period of one year, on a purely contract basis, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
  2. Complete applications, along with attested testimonial certificates, attested CNIC copy, 1 recent photograph, and attested copy of Domicile along with updated Resume, must be forwarded to the office of the Project Director, Construction of Road from Pissan to Hoper Nagar (Shahra-e-Nagar), Satellite Town Lane No. 2, Street No. II, Jutial Gilgit, Gilgit Baltistan, on or before 13th August 2026.
  3. Applications received after the above-mentioned date shall not be entertained, and only short-listed candidates shall be contacted for test/interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in tests/interviews.
  4. Incomplete applications and applications with fake/false documents or information shall be rejected at any stage during or after the recruitment process. Contract employees shall not have any right of regularization at any stage.
