The Medical Teaching Institution (MTI) Khyber Institute of Child Health & Children Hospital, Peshawar, has announced several high-level leadership opportunities. Applications are invited for the following vacant positions:

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Hospital Director

  • Education: Recognized Master’s Degree in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management, Public Health, Public Administration, or another relevant management field.
  • Note: Candidates with a recognized medical degree may also apply, provided they hold an additional management degree and meet the experience criteria. They will not have the right to private practice.
  • Experience: Seven (07) years of senior management experience in a major teaching hospital, organization, or institution.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a period of five (05) years under the MTI Act 2015 (as amended).

2. Finance Director

  • Education & Experience: * Chartered Accountant (CA) with five (05) years of post-qualification experience in FINANCE and/or ACCOUNTS in a major private or public company/institution. OR
  • ICMAP certification or a Master’s degree in Finance or Accounts with eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in FINANCE and/or ACCOUNTS in a major private or public company/institution.
  • Tenure: Appointed for a period of three (03) years under the MTI Act 2015 (as amended).

3. Deputy Director (Admin & Monitoring) – KICH

  • Education: MBBS or Master’s Degree (Sixteen years of education) in Hospital Management, Health Services Management, Business Management, or a relevant management field.
  • Experience: At least five (05) years of relevant experience in reputed healthcare institutes.

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Employment Type: The selected candidates will become full-time institutional employees governed under the MTI Act 2015. They must submit an accepted resignation from their current employer upon appointment.
  • Salary Scale: Appointments will be made under the MTI Grading structure instead of basic pay scales.
  • Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA is admissible. In case of a high volume of applicants, a screening test via ETEA-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may be conducted.
