Job Descriptions: Peshawar Institute of Cardiology (PIC)
1. Assistant Professor in Pulmonology
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures and clinical demonstrations.
- Supervise residents and medical students.
- Engage in research activities and publish findings.
- Provide patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent in Pulmonology.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Anesthesia Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff.
Qualifications:
- MBBS with a specialization in Anesthesiology.
- Valid medical license.
- Experience in cardiac anesthesia preferred.
3. Manager Nursing
Responsibilities:
- Oversee nursing staff and ensure quality patient care.
- Develop nursing policies and procedures.
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years in a managerial role.
4. Medical Officer
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary medical care to patients.
- Conduct examinations and diagnose illnesses.
- Collaborate with specialists for patient management.
Qualifications:
- MBBS or equivalent degree.
- Valid medical license.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience.
5. Cardiac Surgery Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiac surgical procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Educate patients about surgical options and recovery.
Qualifications:
- MD in Cardiac Surgery or equivalent.
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery is preferred.
