Overview

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) under the Improving Workforce Readiness in Punjab Project (IWRPP), funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and executed by the Skills Development & Entrepreneurship Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals holding a Punjab Domicile for contract-based project positions.

Featured Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Project Manager (Civil Works)

  • No. of Positions: 01
  • Project Pay Scale (PPS): PPS-8 (PKR 218,750 – 358,750 per month)
  • Maximum Age Limit: Up to 55 years
  • Required Qualification:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
    • A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience & Skills Required:
    • Minimum 10 years of professional experience managing projects in leadership roles and contract management.
    • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal English communication.
    • Practical work experience in the Punjab region is preferred.
    • Priority given to candidates with experience in foreign-funded/ADB projects, international organizations, or government institutions.

2. Accounts Officer

  • No. of Positions: 01
  • Project Pay Scale (PPS): PPS-6 (PKR 105,000 – 172,200 per month)
  • Maximum Age Limit: Up to 50 years
  • Required Qualification:
    • Qualified Accountant (ACMA / ACCA) or Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience & Skills Required:
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, accountancy, and donor financial reporting.
    • In-depth understanding of Pakistani and Punjab financial laws.
    • Prior experience with projects funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) or multilateral donors is highly preferred.
