The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation, one of the largest utility entities in Asia, is undergoing a major transformational phase. They are seeking passionate and dedicated IT experts to join their transformation team in Karachi.

Vacant Positions & Requirements

All positions are contract-based, initially for three (03) years, and offer competitive, market-based remuneration.

1. Manager IT Governance

  • Role: Strategic oversight and control over IT governance, aligning IT initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001).
  • Qualification: Masters in IT/CS/MIS or Business Administration with IT specialization.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in IT Governance, Risk, Compliance, or IT Audit.

2. Manager IT Projects

  • Role: Leads the Technology Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for project planning, resource optimization, and ensuring delivery within time and budget.
  • Qualification: Masters in IT/CS/MIS. Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years in IT infrastructure and projects, with at least 3 years leading PMO/Program delivery. Proficiency in MS Project/Jira is mandatory.

3. Manager Information Security

  • Role: Protecting organizational information assets, managing security incidents, and promoting a strong cybersecurity culture.
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT/CS/Information Security. Experience with SIEM, SOC operations, and EDR/XDR is required.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 years in Information Security. Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP, or Certified Ethical Hacker.
