The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) has announced various training positions within its Medical Education Department for the upcoming session starting in July 2026.
Available Training Positions
NICVD is offering specialized training across multiple departments, including:
- Adult Cardiology: FCPS Postgraduate Trainees, Clinical Fellows, and TRMOs (Tier I & II).
- Interventional Cardiology: Post Fellow positions.
- Cardiac Surgery: FCPS Postgraduate Trainees, Clinical Fellows, and Post Fellows.
- Paediatric Cardiology & Cardiac ICU: Post Fellows, Clinical Fellows, and TRMOs.
- Critical Care Medicine: Post Fellows and Clinical Fellows.
- Specialized Areas: Cardiac Imaging, Cardiac Emergency (ACVC Program), Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Anesthesia.
General Eligibility Requirements: - Basic: MBBS, House Job, and a Valid PMDC/PMC registration.
- Specialized: Depending on the tier, candidates must have FCPS-I (with IMM), FCPS Qualified, or MD/Diplomas in the relevant specialty.
- Program Durations: Range from 1 to 3 years depending on the specific track.
