Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KS&EW) is offering a prestigious postgraduate scholarship for candidates interested in pursuing a Master’s (MS) in Naval Architecture from NUST Karachi for the Fall 2026 session. This scholarship is followed by a career opportunity at KS&EW.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Maximum 26 years.
- Educational Qualifications:
- BE in Naval Architecture, Marine, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechanical and Manufacturing, Automotive, Aerospace, or Industrial and Manufacturing.
- Degree must be accredited by PEC/HEC.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or 55% marks in 16 years of schooling/4-year Bachelor’s degree.
- Testing Requirement: Candidates must appear in GRE/GAT/GNET/HAT as per NUST requirements.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a comprehensive package covering:
- Full Tuition fees and Admission processing fees.
- Security deposit and Hostel fees (if applicable).
- Self-medical health insurance.
- Monthly Stipend: Rs. 25,000/-.
Terms and Conditions
- Service Bond: Successful candidates are required to serve at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd for a minimum period of 8 years after completing their MS program.
- Performance: If performance is unsatisfactory during the MS, the scholarship will be withdrawn, and the individual may be liable to refund expenses up to Rs. 1.5 Million.
- NOC: Employment No Objection Certificate (NOC) is required if currently employed.
- Selection: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at KS&EW after fulfilling NUST admission requirements.
