🔍 Undergraduate Program Matrix & Eligibility Criteria

1. Computing & Tech Streams (BS 4-Year)

  • Programs: BS Computer Science, BS Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), BS Computer Science (Cyber Security), BS Electronics and Computing.
  • Eligibility: Higher Secondary School Certificate / A-Levels (12 Years of Schooling) or IBCC equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks. Must have studied Mathematics at the intermediate level (or pass deficiency courses of Mathematics of 06 credits in the first year).

2. Basic & Natural Sciences (BS 4-Year)

  • Programs: BS Mathematics, BS Mathematics with Data Science, BS Physics, BS Chemistry, BS Zoology, BS Botany.
  • Eligibility: F.Sc (Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical) or equivalent with at least 2nd Division (45% Marks).

3. Business, Social Sciences & Humanities

  • Programs: BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, BS Hospitality and Tourism, BS English, BS Economics, BS Islamic Studies, BS Pakistan Studies, BS Political Science, BS Psychology, BS Urdu.
  • Eligibility: Intermediate or equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 2nd Division (45% Marks).

4. Allied Health Sciences & Professional Degrees

  • Programs & Criteria:
    • BS Allied Health Sciences (Anesthesia, Radiology, MLT, Aesthetics & Skin Care, Cardiology, Dental Technology): F.Sc Pre-Medical or equivalent with a minimum of 50% Marks.
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT – 5 Year): F.Sc Pre-Medical or equivalent with a minimum of 60% Marks.

🔄 BS 5th Semester Lateral Entry (Bridge Programs)

This structural pipeline allows Associate Degree (AD) holders to transition directly into mainstream university education.

  • Testing & Weights: Departmental Test passing score is 60%. Merit Weightage: Academics 50%, Test 30%, Interview 20%.

PhD Programs

  • Available Disciplines: Botany, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Management Sciences.
  • Academic Criteria: MS / MPhil or equivalent 18-year degree in the relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 under the semester system. HEC equivalency is mandatory for foreign degrees.
  • Testing & Weights: Departmental Test passing score is 70%. Merit Weightage: Academics 50%, Test 30%, Interview 20%.

💡 Important Application Instructions & Rules

  1. Application Processing Fees: * BS Programs application form online/counter processing fee: Rs. 1,000/-.
    • MPhil/MS/PhD admission application form fee: Rs. 1,500/-.
  2. Multiple Disciplines: If applying for more than two disciplines under the BS umbrella, candidates must secure a separate admission form for each incremental choice.
  3. Provisional Base (BS 4/5 Year): Students will apply for BS programs based on their First-Year intermediate results. Admissions based on First-Year results will remain strictly provisional until the full HSSC board declarations. Candidates failing to meet baseline criteria later will be refunded as per HEC policy.
  4. Mandatory Documentation: Attested photocopies of all relevant transcripts, certificates, DMCs, and a Migration Certificate must reach the Office of the Director Admissions within the strict deadline.
