The Government of the Punjab, Aquaculture & Fisheries Department, has officially announced new high-level public sector employment opportunities. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for recruitment on a Contract Basis under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) system.
The recruitment is for the development project titled “Establishment of Aquaculture Business Hub at Lahore” (2025-26 to December, 2027) within the Project Management Unit (PMU) & Research & Training (R&T) Aquaculture Business Hub, Lahore.

The recruitment notice details multiple specialized senior, technical, and engineering vacancies:

1. Deputy Manager Processing Plant (PPS-8)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Initial Lump-Sum Salary: Rs. 300,000/- per month
  • Age Limit: Minimum 30 years
  • Required Qualification & Experience: * B.Sc Mechanical / Industrial (or related field) from an HEC recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

  • Required Qualification & Experience: * PhD / M.Phil / M.Sc / BS in Zoology, Fisheries & Aquaculture from an HEC recognized university.
  • Experience: Candidates with a PhD require 5 years of experience; those with M.Phil / M.Sc / BS require 8 years of applied experience in Fisheries & Aquaculture.

5. Documentation Officer (PPS-7)

  • Required Qualification & Experience: * Minimum 16 years of education from an HEC recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

6. Assistant Manager Networks & Systems (PPS-7)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Initial Lump-Sum Salary: Rs. 200,000/- per month
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
  • Required Qualification & Experience: * BS / MSc / MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent 4-year degree from an HEC recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in managing IT infrastructure, software development/deployment, MIS/ERP/Database systems, network and server administration, IT governance, cybersecurity protocols, and cloud-based solutions.

7. Junior Scientist / Equipment Expert (PPS-7)

  • Number of Posts: 01
  • Initial Lump-Sum Salary: Rs. 200,000/- per month
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years
  • Required Qualification & Experience: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field (such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in lab equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration is highly desirable.

8. Sub Engineer (PPS-6)

  • Number of Posts: 04
  • Initial Lump-Sum Salary: Rs. 150,000/- per month
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years
  • Required Qualification & Experience: * DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineering) in Civil / Mechanical from a recognized Board.
  • At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Place of Posting: 01 Post each at Lahore site, Sheikhupura site, Khanewal site, and Sargodha site.

Governing Terms & Conditions

  • Contract Status: The recruitments will be made purely on a contract basis under the Project Pay Scale system, extendable up to the gestation period of the project. Annual increments will be applied as per approved criteria.
  • Domicile Status: Only candidates belonging to the Punjab Province are eligible to apply for these posts.
  • Age Relaxation Policy: +5 years for males and +8 years for females general age relaxation in the upper age limit at the date of advertisement will be applied as per the Government of Punjab, S&GAD notification dated 08.08.2016.
  • In-Service Candidates: Applicants working in government or semi-government sectors must apply through the proper channel and obtain/provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) / Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) from their departments at the time of the interview.
  • No Permanent Absorption: Selected candidates will not establish any claim or right for permanent appointment or regularization against these posts.
  • No TA/DA: No Travel Allowance or Daily Allowance will be admissible for tests or interviews.

Important Note: All attached photocopies of academic and experience credentials must be duly attested by a gazetted officer.
