Tribal Areas Electricity Supply Company (TESCO), a prominent public sector power utility operating under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan, is seeking a dynamic, result-oriented, and visionary leader for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Background: Minimum sixteen (16) years of education in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Sciences, Finance, Commerce, Economics, OR holding a membership in a recognized professional accounting body.
  • Professional Experience: At least twenty (20) years of post-qualification professional experience, which must include a minimum of three (03) years in senior management or C-Level positions.
  • Sector Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the power distribution sector, regulatory frameworks, and emerging industry challenges.
  • Core Capabilities: Demonstrated capability in strategic leadership, corporate transformation, governance, change management, organizational restructuring, and delivering measurable results in complex environments.
  • Legal Compliance: Must meet the eligibility criteria under the applicable Fit & Proper Criteria and relevant provisions of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023, SOEs (C-Level Appointments) Guidelines, 2024, and the Companies Act, 2017.

Note for Government Employees: Candidates currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Organizations must apply through the proper channel along with a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
