Job Profile & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire security apparatus of QESCO, which includes:

  • Ensuring the security of all QESCO properties, assets, and installations, including Grid Stations and Transmission Lines.
  • Liaising with all local security and law enforcement agencies.
  • Ensuring and imparting relevant training/skills to the security staff.
  • Directing, monitoring, and controlling security activities to safeguard the organization’s assets.
  • Assessing security risks and monitoring the implementation of effective security risk management practices.
  • Ensuring execution of policies on security matters through the regional Deputy Manager (Security).
  • Keeping the CEO informed about security issues and identifying weak areas.
  • Representing QESCO at meetings held with key intelligence divisions and federal/provincial government agencies.
  • Ensuring Government of Pakistan directives regarding the security of foreigners are strictly implemented.
