Security Papers Limited (SPL), a public listed company and the sole manufacturer of security paper in Pakistan, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of General Manager Internal Audit based in Karachi.
Role Overview
The GM Internal Audit will head the Internal Audit function, ensuring the planning, supervision, and performance of various audit and risk assignments, including financial, IT, operational, and compliance audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Planning: Prepare and monitor a comprehensive Audit Plan aligned with organizational strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate the efficacy of risk management efforts and internal controls.
- Operational Review: Analyze financial and operational records to ensure compliance with laws and Board policies.
- Process Assessment: Provide unbiased assessments of IT and business processes.
- Investigation: Supervise audit procedures and investigate potential fraud, waste, or abuse.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to International Standards on Auditing and the Code of Corporate Governance.
Candidate Requirements
